Part 2- Vice documentary: The Cannabis Republic of Uruguay

Part 2 – VICE correspondent Krishna Andavolu, takes us on a very interesting visit to Uruguay to give us an inside look on how the country is implementing the new legislation and how the people feel in regards.

Although Colorado has been the first US State to legalize marijuana, Uruguay is the first nation to do so. Unlike Colorado’s commercial approach, Uruguay’s approach seem to be more interested in regulating an already existing black market rather than turning it into a commodity. President Mujica concludes that “We are a social experiment and want to contribute our experience to the world in order to create better politics.”
